Happy New Year-I know everyone says this but, geez this year flew by! Its seems like yesterday i was sitting in a room with friends pondering 2009 and looking forward to 2010...Its actually interesting because the friends that i rang the New Year in with last year, none of us knew that 2010 would be the most challenging year of our lives. But the beautiful thing is through everything i faced this past year i look back and see Gods faithfulness and his presence in every situation. Im SO grateful because i learned a lot this last year, and i now look back on 2010 as a "Character building year"...
Gods faithfulness and his goodness IS real, Rest in Him this year, you will save yourself a lot of anxiety...HE has already done the work...enjoy every moment and Gods Grace in 2011.
I began this year in Maui and end it in Jerusalem...WHAT A GIFT! I look forward to this final month in Israel. I know that i will never have this time back, so i hope i maximize every minute and educate myself and grow in all areas...
I feel so blessed to be here--my heart hurts and longs for the presence of my family...but soon i will be in their arms...
Please,Enjoy Life, Remain Faithful,Remain Disciplined, Love Others, Give Lots, and give thanks in all circumstances...
Happy New Year to all my Dearest Friends...
Sarah
''Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:28-31
(Above is a picture of a Lily flower outside of the Jaffa Gate, My sister was named after the Lilies of the field that my parents saw here in Israel... I love you Lily... you are more beautiful then any flower, enjoy 2011.)

ReplyDelete“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." Mt 5:14-15
This is one of my favorite verses, as are many others. Thank you for sharing your adventure wit us. You have given me a new outlook on Israel. Now I can see why your Dad loves to travel there and share its significance to our faith.
Your light shines brilliantly, keep up the good work!
Love, Grandpa Co-9
